An Expert's Caption: The wine displays superb aromatics and rich flavors of black ripe fruit, dark chocolate, raisin and dried fig. On the palate, the wine shows flavors of ripe plums, fruit cake, black olives and spices. The finish has fine sweet oak characters from the partial maturation in French and America oak barriques. — Winemaker's Notes

A Beginner's Caption: Did you get any of that? I did not understand half of the things I just typed out. This is a very hip looking wine. Don't get scared by the logo though. It's not as intimidating as it looks. This wine is not sweet but it isn't so bitter. It's light - it has the consistency of grape juice. Hahah. And oddly enough, I do slightly taste a bit of that dark chocolate flavor aforementioned.

Best enjoyed with: BBQ, meat dishes and strong cheeses
